FIRST KOKUYO STATIONARY POP-UP SHOP IN VIETNAM OPENED

Over 1,000 groups of customers made purchases within seven days

KOKUYO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka / President: Hidekuni Kuroda) announces that it has opened its first Pop-up Shop in Vietnam for customers to encounter KOKUYO stationery from Japan and original stationery from China, including products planned and developed in Vietnam that are popular with students, at Van Hanh Mall, a shopping mall in Ho Chi Minh City, for seven days from August 5 through August 11, 2024. Over the seven days, more than 1,000 groups of customers made purchases.

The market in Vietnam has always been unique in terms of specifications such as notebook size and ruled line content, and in recent years, KOKUYO has been expanding its notebook lineup for students in the southern part of the country.
With the opening of the Pop-up Shop in Vietnam, KOKUYO has planned and sold notebooks tailored to the specifications of students in the southern part of the country, and has also developed a diverse lineup of approximately 550 products that are popular with students from neighboring Asian countries such as Japan and China.
When customers who purchased products were surveyed, approximately 88% said they were familiar with KOKUYO and the Campus brand, demonstrating high recognition through Campus notebooks.

As a result of posting information on our official social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook), many customers visited the Pop-up Shop, with many saying that they found out about it through Facebook in particular.

As it was also during the summer vacation for Vietnamese students, the shop was crowded from morning until closing time. In particular, customers tried out the notebooks and pens, and some also said they were surprised by the quality of the Campus Notebook paper.
