(Headquarters: Osaka / President: Hidekuni Kuroda) announces that its Chinese subsidiary KOKUYO Commerce (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will hold the KOKUYO HAKU SHANGHAI 2024 at Raffles City Changning Bell Tower (formerly St. Mary's Hall) in Shanghai, China, for three days from July 26 to 28, 2024, as an opportunity to experience its latest stationery and popular products.

As the value-added stationery market expands due to heightening needs for self-expression via social media, KOKUYO's stationery business aims to capture the market by enhancing our points of contact with customers and expand our business domains not only in Japan but also globally. Japanese stationery is gaining popularity in the Chinese stationery market, especially among junior high and high school students. thanks to its design and exceptional functionality. In Shanghai, we operate two Campus STYLE directly managed stores, and both stores receive many customers, especially on holidays.

KOKUYO HAKU SHANGHAI is a stationery event for end users that has been held every year since 2018, and this year will be the fifth edition of the event*.
Taking inspiration from "city walks," which have recently grown in popularity as a way to relax in hectic modern society, this year's event will be themed "SUMMER ROAMING." The venue will be transformed into "KOKUYO TOWN," a town where visitors can explore a variety of stationery products, with around 800 product items available including limited editions and collaborations with other brands.
In addition, the event will be held in two cities this year, with another venue in Chengdu, so that even more KOKUYO fans can enjoy a tour of our stationery.

2. Highlights of the KOKUYO HAKU Shanghai 2024

(1) Limited edition products

Campus notebooks, ballpoint pens, miniature stationery, and stationery featuring the key visual and items designed by illustrator Mari Katogi are available exclusively at the venue.

 

(2) Collaboration stationery

Collaboration stationery, which is popular every year and often sells out, will be available again this year.
This year, collaboration products with confectionery manufacturers Calbee China, Kameda Seika, and stationery company Maruman will be available.

 

(3) Other features

The event will feature a range of day-long fun activities, including limited-edition novelties for visitors and people who make purchases as well as a gift campaign linked to the Campus STYLE and e-commerce websites.
