KOKUYO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka / President: Hidekuni Kuroda) announces that its Chinese subsidiary KOKUYO Commerce (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. ("KOKUYO Commerce") opened its second "Campus STYLE" directly managed store for KOKUYO stationery in "Hall of the Sun" shopping center in Shanghai on Friday April 26, 2024.
As the value-added stationery market expands due to heightening needs for self-expression via social media, KOKUYO's stationery business aims to capture the market by enhancing our points of contact with customers and expand our business domains not only in Japan but also globally.
In 2005, we established a Chinese subsidiary to develop stationery products especially for students.
The newly opened Campus STYLE Hall of the Sun Store is the second store to open following Campus STYLE Metro City Store in July 2022. It was opened at a mall facility in a bedroom community located five kilometers northeast of the Shanghai city center.
The white walls of the store were decorated with KOKUYO stationery, with approximately 2,600 items available to welcome customers, including a variety of colorful Campus notebooks that are original products for China.

On Friday April 26, the store was bustling with customers as students left school for the day.
The most popular product was correction tape for Campus notebooks, which many customers picked up and enjoyed.
Approximately 3,000 customers visited the store in the first three days after opening, mainly students and families who came to the mall to shop.
