KOKUYO THAILAND Opens New Showroom

--Showroom to be the first live office in Thailand featuring Lamex brand office furniture--

KOKUYO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka / President: Hidekuni Kuroda) announces that its Thai subsidiary KOKUYO International (THAILAND) Co., Ltd. ("KOKUYO THAILAND") opened a showroom and office on September 1, 2023, doubling the area of its premises, and held an opening ceremony on October 19.

KOKUYO THAILAND was established in 2004 as a local sales subsidiary in Thailand for the KOKUYO Group's workplace business.

While remote work became widespread after the COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand, workers are now returning to the office at many companies. What is required of an office has also changed dramatically since the pandemic, and KOKUYO THAILAND has received an increasing number of inquiries from companies that now regard their offices as communication hubs.

To meet the changing needs of customers, KOKUYO THAILAND relocated its office to the ONE CITY CENTRE, a high-rise building located two minutes from Phloen Chit BTS station in the heart of the Thai economy, and renovated it into a live office where visitors can observe employees at work. The new office is a one-floor space where workers can easily communicate with each other based on the concept of "the one roof."

This is the latest showroom to deliver unique value to customers in the ASEAN region and demonstrate a space that supports the newest way of working in Thailand, by combining the advantages of products from both Lamex, an office furniture brand from Hong Kong that became part of the KOKUYO Group last year, and KOKUYO, which is gaining recognition in the ASEAN region.
