  • Zentaro Kuroda establishes the Kuroda Hyoshi-Ten, which is subcontracted to manufacture the covers of Japanese-style bookkeeping ledgers.

  • Start office goods online sales business called "EasyBuy" in China.

  • KOKUYO - Shimanto Yui no Mori Project begins.
  • Vietnam Plant begins operations.
  • KOKUYO invests in ACTUS Co., Ltd.
  • KOKUYO Furniture Commerce and Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is set up in China.
2008
  • The Eco-X Mark is placed in the General Catalogue on all KOKUYO made offerings that are not sufficiently environmentally friendly, and a promise is made that all products become eco-friendly by 2010.
  • Sales of Wammy educational toys begin.
  • The Eco Live Office, an environmentally friendly office, opens in Tokyo, Shinagawa.
  • KOKUYO becomes the office space design service supplier for the Beijing 2008 Olympics.
  • Sales of Campus Notebooks (dotted ruled lines series) begin.
2009
  • Urban Design System Co., Ltd. becomes a subsidiary and the hotel consulting business begins.
2010
  • KOKUYO Marketing Co., Ltd., KOKUYO China Co., Ltd., and KOKUYO Kyushu Co., Ltd. merge as KOKUYO Marketing Co., Ltd.
  • KOKUYO Furniture Co., Ltd. and KOKUYO Office System Co., Ltd. merge as KOKUYO Furniture Co., Ltd.
  • Exhibition held within the Japan Industrial Pavilion at Expo 2010 Shanghai China.
  • KOKUYO VIETNAM TRADING Co., Ltd. is set up.
  • Business collaboration agreements are made with Pentel Co., Ltd. for Selling stationary in Europe, including Eastern Europe and Russia, the Middle East, and Africa.

  • Shares of Camlin Limited, India are acquired. The name is changed to KOKUYO Camlin.
  • A succession of business is made with HOT ROCK STATIONERY (S.Z.) Co., Ltd. which is No.1 notebook maker of China.
2012
  • The office furniture Showrooms open in Shanghai,China and Singapore.
  • KOKUYO Commerce (Shanghai) Co.,Ltd. Shanghai Plant begins operations as a notebook production facility.
2013
  • Umeda Live Office and Umeda Showroom are opened.
  • KOKUYO acquires Riddhi Enterprises, a notebook manufacturer in India.
  • KiSPA, the stationery catalogue for corporate customers, is launched.
